Magnetic-drive chemical centrifugal pumps

Magnetic-drive chemical centrifugal pumps pump acids, alkalis and solvents leak-free and maintenance-free, entirely without a shaft seal.

Magnetic-drive MARCH chemical centrifugal pump

Description

EUROLINE series: the most economical solution for the safe and leak-free pumping of the most aggressive, explosive and environmentally hazardous media.
M series: a milestone in durability and robustness when pumping hazardous and aggressive media, including in potentially explosive areas.

MARCH magnetic-drive chemical centrifugal pumps work entirely without a mechanical shaft seal. Power is transmitted without contact to the hydraulic part by permanent magnets. MARCH magnetic-drive chemical centrifugal pumps meet the highest demands for quality, economy and reliability when pumping aggressive, toxic and environmentally hazardous liquids.

Properties

  • Centrifugal pump / turbomachine
  • Maintenance-free
  • Leak-free
  • Close-coupled design
  • Magnetic-drive, sealless
  • For clean fluids without solids
  • Normal suction
  • Injection-moulded plastic casing
  • Corrosion-resistant materials
  • High-quality motor makes

Design / function

The pumps are built in a compact close-coupled design. The modular system allows the individual parts to be exchanged quickly without special tools. The plain bearings are lubricated by the pumped medium, so the pumps work maintenance-free. Operation without pumped medium (dry running) and pumped media loaded with solids must be avoided. Only IEC standard motors to DIN/EN 60034 and VDE 0530 are used as motors. All pumps of the M series can be supplied with threaded or flange connections. For trouble-free pump operation, the operating limits must be observed, in particular the minimum flow rate and the required inlet head (NPSH, req.).

Applications

MARCH magnetic-drive chemical centrifugal pumps are used in particular for the safe pumping of acids, alkalis and solvents. Proven application examples include use as filter pumps in electroplating and the printed circuit board industry, as filling and circulation pumps in the chemical industry and in apparatus engineering, and in food, pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications.
