Magnetic-drive side-channel peripheral impeller pumps
MTA series: stainless steel 1.4404
MT series: polypropylene, PVDF
MARCH magnetic-drive peripheral impeller pumps are available in various material designs. The MTA series is a stainless steel design; the MT series is a non-metallic design. A large number of turbine-shaped guide vanes generate a comparatively high delivery pressure at low flow rates. The pumps of the MT/MTA series are built in a side-channel design, so that gas fractions in the medium of max. 20 vol-% can be pumped along without causing dry-running damage. Magnetic-drive pumps work entirely without a mechanical shaft seal. Power is transmitted without contact and with a positive fit to the hydraulic part by strong permanent magnets.
MARCH magnetic-drive peripheral impeller pumps are suitable for the leak-free pumping of aggressive, environmentally hazardous and toxic liquids, especially when small flow rates have to be pumped to large geodetic heads. The magnetic coupling ensures absolute hermetic tightness of the pump. The pumps are built as standard in a compact close-coupled design. The modular system allows the individual parts to be exchanged quickly without special tools. Only European IEC standard motors to DIN/EN 60034 and VDE 0530 are fitted as drives. All pumps of the MT/MTA series are available with pipe threads or flange connections. For trouble-free pump operation, the operating limits must be observed, in particular the minimum flow rate and the required inlet head (NPSH, req.).
